Concerts come in many forms, however one thing that they all share in common is that they are live performances before an audience. Additionally, when we think about a concert, we are usually thinking of music. A concert can be of contemporary music, or it can be of classical, or jazz music. It can be any of various musical genres. There may be only one musician, or there could be an entire orchestra or band. A concert is otherwise called a "show", and these days it is all the more commonly known as a "gig", especially for more non-classical performances, for example, shake, punk, hip-jump or jazz. A concert or gig may occur in a variety of settings, ranging from the large auditorium, for example, the Big Egg in Tokyo, or The Ice Stadium in Stockholm, or it may very well too be held in a bar or club. A few concerts occur in theaters, horse shelters, or even outside.
Some concerts are free, yet in general you have to buy tickets with a specific end goal to attend a concert. Many bands or performers go on visit, doing a series of concerts in a string of urban communities, in various countries. The concert gives the performers the opportunity to play before a live audience, and to establish a rapport with their fans. Concerts assume a great role in the promotion of the artist, by expanding their exposure to their fans. If the fans really enjoy the gig, they will doubtlessly need to go to more concerts by a similar band. Visits are widely used to promote collection deals, with the visit frequently having an indistinguishable name from the collection. A few bands love doing live gigs, and do many of them, though different bands infrequently perform live. Some bands that generally pull in a large audience can really get down to business with the special effects, for example, lasers, lights, elaborate props, inflatables, film shown on screen, smoke, fireworks, etc. All this helps to increase the excitement and the spectacle. The Rolling Stones, who are prestigious for going on visit, made fantastic use of inflatables on their Voodoo Lounge Tour. The progressive shake band Pink Floyd used some stunning props when they performed The Wall a few years back, and at one point constructed an entire wall in front of an audience. A few artists, for example, Iggy Pop, do swarm surfing, and the spectators frequently move, chime in, and move in the mosh pit. Shake concerts usually include a drum solo from the drummer, which tends to be one of the highlights of the show. But the best acoustic guitar concerts are outdoors too.m Some events are known as celebrations, and these include a huge line-up of large numbers of artists. Celebrations, for example, Glastonbury or Reading, normally happen outside, and there are various different tents where you can hear different styles of music, for example, shake, non mainstream, hip-jump, etc. Most celebrations include a move tent with a top DJ, where the celebration goers can move for a considerable length of time to the latest sounds. So concerts come in all shapes and sizes. Pick the one for you, and you are sure to have a good time
